The Classical-Quantum Channel with Random State Parameters Known to the Sender
نویسندگان
چکیده
We study an analog of the well-known Gel’fand Pinsker Channel which uses quantum states for the transmission of the data. We consider the case where both the sender’s inputs to the channel and the channel states are to be taken from a finite set (cq-channel with state information at the sender). We distinguish between causal and non-causal channel state information at the sender. The receiver remains ignorant, throughout. We give a single-letter description of the capacity in the first case. In the second case we present two different regularized expressions for the capacity. The direct part of this coding theorem is based on a special class of POVMs which are derived from orthogonal projections onto certain representations of the symmetric groups. This approach supports a reasoning that is inspired by the classical method of types.

On The Secrecy of the Cognitive Interference Channel with Channel State
In this paper the secrecy problem in the cognitive state-dependent interference channel is considered. In this scenario we have a primary and a cognitive transmitter-receiver pairs. The cognitive transmitter has the message of the primary sender as side information. In addition, the state of the channel is known at the cognitive encoder. Hence, the cognitive encoder uses this side information t...
متن کاملTeleportation via an Entangled Coherent Channel and Decoherence Effect on This Channel
We study an entangled two-mode coherent state within the framework of2×2-dimensional Hilbert space. We investigate the problem of quantum teleportation ofa superposition coherent state via an entangled coherent channel. By three differentmeasures with the titles ``minimum assured fidelity (MASF)”, ``average teleportationfidelity” and ``optimal fidelity (f)” we study the ...
متن کاملClassical capacities of quantum channels with environment assistance
A quantum channel physically is a unitary interaction between the information carrying system and an environment, which is initialized in a pure state before the interaction. Conventionally, this state, as also the parameters of the interaction, is assumed to be fixed and known to the sender and receiver. Here, following the model introduced by us earlier [Karumanchi et al., arXiv[quant-ph]:140...
متن کاملSequential, successive, and simultaneous decoders for entanglement-assisted classical communication
Bennett et al. showed that allowing shared entanglement between a sender and receiver before communication begins dramatically simplifies the theory of quantum channels, and these results suggest that it would be worthwhile to study other scenarios for entanglement-assisted classical communication. In this vein, the present paper makes several contributions to the theory of entanglement-assiste...
متن کاملGibbs Free Energy Analysis of a Quantum Analog of the Classical Binary Symmetric Channel
The Gibbs free energy properties of a quantum send, receive communications system are studied. The communications model resembles the classical Ising model of spins on a lattice in that the joint state of the quantum system is the product of sender and receiver states. However, the system differs from the classical case in that the sender and receiver spin states are quantum superposition state...
